Description
Join Bend the Arc members on Long Island to join Free New York, a campaign seeking to win crucial pre-trial reforms statewide like bail reform, discovery reform, and speedy trial reform — because no New Yorker deserves to sit in jail pre-trial, at risk of losing their job, home, or custody of their children, simply because they could not pay bail or access a speedy trial.
At the meeting, we'll learn more about the campaign, strategize about how to mobilize the Jewish community to create constituent pressure on key legislators, and leave with clear steps for action. Light snacks will be served.
