Join Bend the Arc: Long Island for our monthly community meeting! Each month we build our connections to each other, move forward campaign work, and do learning together to build skills and make our work more impactful.
At the meeting, we’ll deepen our community’s relationships while moving forward key campaign priorities:
We’re advocating for the Promise Package, a groundbreaking budget package that if passed, will support New York’s immigrant communities with desperately needed legal services, adult literacy and English as a second language programs, and refugee support services.
We’re fighting to protect bail reform. Our coalition won historic reforms to free thousands of legally innocent people from jail pre-trial, and we won’t let fearmongering succeed to bring our state back to the status quo of criminalizing poverty.
