Description
Storytelling has been a powerful tool in the Jewish, community organizing, and many other traditions to build connection, move people to action, and make change.
On Tuesday, July 30, join Bend the Arc: Long Island's Jeremiah Fellows for a special evening of storytelling on immigration. At the event we will ground ourselves in the importance of storytelling as a tool for change making, share our own personal stories and connections to immigration, and immerse ourselves in first person narratives from migrants to the US today. We'll also share next steps to plug into action on Defund Hate, Bend the Arc's national campaign to mobilize American Jews to fight detention and deportation.
Light dinner will be served. Questions and concerns about accessibility can be addressed by Leora at [email protected].
